Can you repair damaged pieces?
We cannot repair Peppermint Fox accessories produced prior to 2018, especially resined items. We can work with you to provide a replacement for a beloved item, though this is not a free service. We do not provide repairs for garments, and you will have much better luck with the assistance of a skilled seamstress. For accessories produced in 2018 and onwards, suffering damage not caused by product fault, we can offer a repair service (postage at the customer’s cost) or instruct you on DIY repairs, depending on the damage.
Who are the designers behind Peppermint Fox?
Thali and Lindzi are the two-person team behind Peppermint Fox. Together, we design everything you see on the website. Sometimes we also work with other designers to create unique collaborative pieces- which is one of our favourite things to do!
Who assembles the accessories?
Our accessories are assembled by us in studio, in Tasmania. Piece by piece. With just two of us, we have to keep our releases limited since there is unfortunately only so many hours in a day!
Where are your garments made?
Our garments are ethically produced in China by a small mum and pop cooperative. We work directly with the seamstress to produce small runs of skilfully made garments.
Is your fabric available to buy?
Our fabric is exclusive to our limited collections. Occasionally we sell fabric scrap packs with small amounts of left over fabric in them, and some of our sew-your-own homewares feature unique designs.
Will you re-release any collections?
Collections may be restocked or bought back. Except for Tiny Companions, items from before 2018 are only available in our Adventurer’s Club Archive for purchase as a specially priced re-produced one-off.
What are your sizes?
Sizes are listed on each garment page, and it’s best to check there for the most up-to-date information for each piece.
Do you offer custom-sized garments?
No. We believe doing so would be cost and time prohibitive. We’re working to make our sizes more inclusive, to cover a greater range of sizes. If you are between sizes, we suggest sizing up where possible and finding a trusted seamstress to alter your garment for the perfect fit.
How should I care for my garment?
We recommend a cool hand wash, dried flat in shade, to ensure your garments longevity regardless of fabric type. Most garments also do fine on a cool gentle cycle in the washing machine. We do not recommend using hot or warm water. Iron on the wrong side of the fabric with a cloth if you do not have access to a steamer.
